Nachdem die Spionageeinheit nach 15 weiteren Minuten erneut Regungslosigkeit vermeldete, griffen die Schiffe in einem geschickten Mannöver von der Seite an. Die gegnerische Flotte hatte keine Chance und wurde letztendlich vernichtend geschlagen.
